Children’s dentistry

A first dental visit can feel like a big adventure. Our dentists and team enjoy getting to know children, answering their questions, and helping families build positive habits from the start. We want your child to feel welcome—not judged—and we want you to feel comfortable asking questions.

Every little ninja belongs here.

Questions, wiggles, worries, and all. Your child doesn’t have to be fearless to be a Smile Ninja.

Every little ninja belongs here

Tell us what your child enjoys, what makes them nervous, and how they prefer to communicate. Our team can explain what the visit involves in approachable language and discuss comfort needs with you. From checkups to fillings, we help parents understand the recommended care and the next step.

Checkups, cleanings, sealants, and fillings for growing teeth. Our dentists help you understand your child’s care.

Questions to bring to the visit

  • How can we help our child feel comfortable at the visit?
  • Which preventive care or treatment is recommended for their teeth?

Care for growing teeth

Sealants

Ask our dentists whether sealants are appropriate for your child’s teeth. We can explain the recommendation, what the visit involves, and how it fits into preventive care.

Fillings

If a filling is recommended, our dentists explain the tooth’s needs and the treatment options. Share your child’s worries so we can discuss how to support their comfort during the visit.

Small steps. Strong smiles.

Every Smile Ninja starts somewhere. Our team helps children ask questions, share what makes them comfortable, and learn how to care for their teeth—one small step at a time.

Mission 1: Bring your questions. Curious about the chair or the tools? Ask us!

Mission 2: Tell us what helps. Let a grown-up or our team know how you are feeling.

Mission 3: Learn your next smile skill. Ask the team for a brushing tip to practice at home. You do not have to be fearless to be a Smile Ninja.

Let’s win today—together

Parents are welcome during the examination. Help your child feel confident by letting our team lead the conversation, supporting our child-friendly words, and encouraging them to follow directions.

Save detailed questions for before or after treatment, but always speak up about an immediate concern. If stepping out could help your child, we’ll discuss it with you.

Together, we can build trust and positive dental experiences.

Questions, worries, and a little ninja magic

Will my child cooperate? Children bring different personalities and comfort needs to the chair. Our experienced team uses patient, age-appropriate language and kind encouragement to help your child follow directions and work toward the appointment’s goals. You don’t have to arrive with every answer—we’ll discuss your child’s needs with you.

Will I have to push my child through the appointment? Let our team lead the instructions and give your child one clear voice to follow. Receiving directions from several adults at once can be confusing. Support our team’s kind, encouraging words rather than adding competing instructions. Always speak up about an immediate concern; we’ll discuss individual needs with you.

Will you judge us for cavities? No. We won’t shame you or your child about decay. Our focus is helping you understand the findings, recommended care, and what comes next.
